The undeniable truth remains, against any conventional fighting force the American military will always come out the victors. Remember, it two no more than two weeks to knock out Iraq's conventional Republican guard. All that remains are scattered insurgents and you guys are so willing to label it an American defeat? America OWNS Iraq, and you say that it lost? No no no.
America controls the Iraqi government, America controls Iraq. America may and should pull out, but Iraq can never be considered an American defeat. We lost less men in eight years than we did in one day on Iwo Jima.
Don't be so quick to judge things. We just sent 20,000 more troops over and I can almost promise you that violence will decrease just as it always does after a troop surge.
