What happens when your boss asks you "what do you want to drink" and you say "milk." Your boss is going to think "wow I hired a pussy" and that is the harsh reality

And if the boss is offering alcohol to someone underaged...we have more of a problem than worrying about the drinks at hand, don't we.
I'm sorry, but I don't drink. Ever. And if my boss is going to think me a pussy, b/c I don't drink, then maybe I don't want to work with said boss. A boss should worry about the productivity of their worker, not what they drink and don't drink.
It's a harsh reality, hungryboi, indeed. But your reality does not equate all.
wow are you like
prohibition spokesperson incarnate?
Far from it.
in some cultures it would be deemed disrespectful to refuse a drink from a boss or superior. its just how some office environments work.

Oh, no, honey. I don't know where the fuck you're living, but office environments don't force one to drink. You can ALWAYS say 'no thank you'. And, our culture is NOT that culture. Try again.
im simply addressing the fact that you'll most likely be dealing with people who drink / environments involving alcohol for the rest of your life.

So what if you have to deal with it? You can always say 'no', no matter the situation/circumstances. You do NOT HAVE TO DRINK IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO. Boss pressure is peer pressure. I don't care if your boss is the leader of Sam Adams, and he's working with you, as a part time Boss. You do NOT HAVE TO DRINK, NO MATTER WHAT HE SAYS. If he looks at you any less b/c you drink water, over beer, you have every right to leave. Probably every right to sue for...I dunno, stupidity.
and your goody-two shoes patronizing attitude is something that should be addressed...BY GETTING A LITTLE TIPSY.
I'm no goody two shoes. And, no, I would rather stay sober, the rest of my life, thanks much.
But thanks for the assholey attitude. :_
chill out.

I can do well without alcohol. Too many dangerous side effects. The cons outlast the pros.
