there are times when you just have to let go of those you love.
everyone's finally going off on their own, so it'll be hard to keep in touch with high school buddies while working toward a successful career. nevertheless, this is not impossible. there are people who, similar to your situation, have remained best friends for ever and some change.
if you're really worried about losing your friends, then just try working hard toward keeping in touch.
phone numbers, e-mails, instant messaging, and other technical utilities help solve this problem.
i truly understand where you're coming from, for i am also a soon-to-be high school graduate. i go into college this September as a freshmen, thrilled of the experiences that lie ahead, rather than the fun i've left behind.
just try looking at things from a completely different perspective.
