At my school they limit us to 18 credits unless we get a special permit. Sounds like you'd be really burned out by those classes unless they're a bunch of lower level courses. Instead of trying to catch up on your credits in one semester, take 15-18 credits per semester from this point on and you should be able to graduate in 4 years. It's way easier and more beneficial to pace yourself.

If you think you can do it, and that you'll stay mentally health and on top of your work, there's no reason you shouldn't take all the things you enjoy. I had one semester where I played a varsity sport, took 5 classes and worked on the student programming board every weekend. It worked out fine for me but I wouldn't have wanted to do it more than once.
Thanks for your replies. I figured 19 may be pushing it so I dropped the Queer Cinema class because I wasn't really interested in it and will wait to find something under that same requirement that will be more beneficial to my major. I did keep the p.e. class and added another one so I'm at 17 credits. The p.e. classes aren't too involved (I already took the first half of one--easy) so those don't have nearly the same courseload. I basically just have to go and participate. I want to be able to concentrate on my sport.
