I totally agree. We should now have an option to turn the sidebar completely off so we don't have to look at this crap that clutters the forums even more.

I don't mind the feature but I have to agree about those triangles!

Also, minor point - the little circle bulletin points under 'My Posts' are apparently confusing quite a few people who think they are zeros. P'raps if they were filled in? Unless, of course, they ARE zeros.

Is it the nominal 1-2 seconds that the new friends list takes to load which bothers you? Or is it the ability to check a friend's online status without leaving the page? Or maybe it's the ability to go directly to a friend's profile which upsets you?
