Also, when I signed up, I used an e-mail adress, but the verify thing was never really required. Now that I want to do it, I can't because I don't have that email anymore. Can't log into it. And it sais "You cannot change your e-mail until it has been verified" or sometihng.

Dave, I have gotten 4 people to Livewire (one through your referall process) and I regret it. 2 of them are Rl's and I needed to make a seperate account to post half my problems I wanted to post. I don't want to have more people come. This is worse than the sidebar thing.

The referring is too much, in my opinion. First of all, there's the whole "anonymity" of the internet. A ton of people on here don't refer friends for that specific reason; members talk about their friends in real life on this site, and if they referred them, the whole anonymity thing would be blown. Plus, it's just a huge hassle to wait and wait and wait for people to verify their email address. One friend I refered has been on here for a while now, and still hasn't verified her email. 
I like to use Livewire not only to give advice, but to ask for advice, maybe advice that I'd rather not share with my friends.
