Do you believe in a higher power?

I found this quote, it's pretyt much exactaly what I belive in.


"I belive that God in his fullest is virtually beyond our ability to conceptualize with the human senses that we have. But there will come a time in all of our existences when we will be able to experience Goe. Our relationship with Him is individual and personal and constantly evolving. I use "Him" but that's just for convenience. I don't think God is a Him or Her or any of those things that are identifiable. I like to think that God is pure love in its most supreme form. Much human love is selfish but divine love is something different. I belive we all experience elements of God every day but may not be aware."

I like that.  Ever heard that song "From a Distance"?  It's kinda like that, as well.

I certainly don't believe in the worship of Jesus.  As for God I believe everyone's definition is different.  Some days I do and some I don't.  If there was a higher power I really doubt it would be allowing humans to destroy other humans for no good reason and to destroy the earth.

Yes, but not really how a  monotheist or polytheist would see it. I think that if their is a higher power it's more of a life force or energy rather than old dude sitting on a throne controlling everything in life.

I believe in a higher power of some sort however i think all religions are way off the mark, religion gives us purpose which makes us feel good about existing and promise of an afterlife basically answers to things we can never have answers to, also religion has caused far more problems than it has solved and they are all adament that they are correct, i think the human mind is unable to comprehend the wonders of the universe and existance we are far to full of our selves if there is a "god" why the hell would care about us all we do is argue and kill each other, not much of an acomplishment for an allmighty being
