Hola. I mostly go by Ross, although it's my last name. I live in a tiny-ass town: Sweetwater. I'm 16, 17 in August, and I'm a Junior in High School. I absolutely love lifting weights. I play football, and am going to be a three-year starter for the Hometown Team: the Mustangs. (Tackle 1 1/4 years; Center 1 3/4 years;) I am a dominant force in my school, not only with my strength, but with personality. I gave a pep rally speech this year, in which I made a pun of the word 'lei.' Haha, that got me a day of detention. I am a Christian, but not as strong in my faith as I once was. I'm completely scatter-brained 98% of the time, unless you put me in front of a computer. And that's me. Only slightly.

Hai. I'm Jesse. I live in Athens, OH, where I go to school. I am an English major, minoring in media studies. I love playing football with my friends, and spending time with them. I'll hang out with pretty much anyone, provided they aren't a prick or a jerk. I'm Christian, but I'm one of those "live and let live" Christians. One thing that annoys me is evangelizing, even when it is atheists doing it. Most of the time, I am easy-going and sharp-witted with people. I love to make people laugh, because I like to laugh, myself.

Hi, my name is Cara. I am 18 years old. I come from a lovely seaside town in England in which i have lived my whole life. I am currently in my second year of college. Last year i took psychology, sociology and history at A Level. Now I'm studying Business Administration. I've always dreamt of being some kind of counsellor. But my school careers adviser ruined that dream for me when she told me that i couldn't do it. I know deep down that i could if i put my mind to it. But that set back, really did set me back. So now I'm studying to be someone's secretary, even though i know i am capable of so much more. I just need to regain my confidence somehow. Most of you probably recognise me for my dog, George. He's 14 this year. Quite old. Absolutely terrified of losing him. In real life, well and on Livewire, I'm a bit of a loner. I don't have many friends. I don't like talking about myself. I'm a bottler. I keep everything inside and then on rare occasions i like to let a select person in. I'm very unapproachable I'm told. Which is my main problem. I do however have a fantastic boyfriend. He is the only thing I've got going for me. We've been together for over a year now. His name is Brett and he's the most amazing person I've ever met. He is my soul mate. I can't actually think of anything interesting to say about myself. I'm sure you all have your own opinions and I'll leave you to those :)
------- Week in and week out, Your lucky charms will always let you down, Maybe next week we'll see, Maybe

I'm late to the party. My name is Sam and I'm on my gap year between college and university, working at Boots and volunteering at an after-school club for children, teenagers and young adults with learning disabilities. I play hockey for my city (the gay type not the Russian). As a result I've worn a skort, but not whilst sober. I engage best with people face-to-face or similar, which maybe explains why I haven't connected socially on the internet and resent it most of the time. There's no point hiding the fact I'm probably a lot different from your stereotypical introverted, socially-awkward LW user which seems to be a useful asset in watering-hole-type social bonding. There are a lot of fantastic American, British European and (for simplicity's sake) "rest of the world" films out there which suffer a lot from the Hollywood drivel that often floods over here to our cinemas which makes huge amounts of money whilst at the same time being god-awful productions. Which is a shame, because a lot of gerat cinema is lost or missed. The same can be said for music. Books are much safer, but only because there's a stigma about reading them that doesn't hover above films and music. This is also bad. I'm going to Leicester uni for medicine in September, which means I'll be leaving you lovely people soonish. Grab love while you can. It also means I can spell Leicester now. In June I'm going to traverse continental Europe for a few months picking up culture, friends and venereal disease. Post edited at 4:42 pm on Mar. 6, 2008 by The Samsoniteman

Can we grab the love inappropriately?
