Although, technically you have the right to tell them not to search your room (as an RA, I know that we were not allowed to search anything unless we got permission, although, many people did not know this, so they gave us permission thinking they had no other choice). But, saying that you do not want us to search something gives us reason to think that you have something to hide, which inevitably gives us reason to take the matter to a higher authority, which is no good for us or for you. RAs really don't want to get you in trouble, and it kinda makes us feel bad to have to write people up or call the cops for something that we may even do ourselves.
It all comes down to: you signed a contract to live in the dorms. You can either follow the contract or find somewhere else to live. Seems pointless to me to risk getting kicked out of housing (and perhaps even the school!) purely because you couldn't keep your alcohol out of the dorms (AND when you are most likely underage).

So when you're happy (Hurray!), or sad (Aw!),
Or frightened (Eeek!), or mad (Rats!)
An interjection starts a sentence right.
