I just hate investing so much of myself into something and it feels like no one gives a damn. You know? You start to question why you're here? I don't let negative things affect me, but every now and then... *sigh*

PS. And you're right about there being negative influences. I've since learned how to just not bother with some people.

Are you putting in the work so other people will like you? or are you putting in the work so that you will like yourself? Invest your time on developing yourself and improving your quality of life.

Most people feel lonely. It's a way of life. Understand that, take care of your own loneliness (developing a hobby, or finding a passion), and then you can focus on taking care of the people around you.
