1. Album Cover- too few posts lol 2. Artist- Scar Symmetry 3. Album- Holographic Universe 4. Genre- Melodic Death Metal 5. Overall Review- Metal album of the year! Amazing step up from SS's previous albums...Sci-fi themed and sounding....an overwhelming use of clean vocals. this album is brilliant 6. Track Review- Morphogenesis: Great Album Opener. Fairly simple song structure...clean sung chorus's, growled verse's and a growled bridge. Great guitarmanship and drumming. This song has an AMAZING solo. A great entrance to the rest of the album. the most-radio friendly song on the cd (9/10) Timewave Zero: The first half of this song is really mellow and melodic...it speeds up in the second half into a death metal FEAST. the song starts off with a great vocal entrance that shows of Christians great singing. not many growls in this song. its still a great song, really well done, but the drums are lacking. (7/10) Quantumleaper: this is my livewire username, lol! This is the BEST song on the album. really heavy all the way through. a simple structured song...growled verse's, clean sung chorus'...the vocals on the bridge sound like a damn cannibal corpse song. its really well done...and the chorus is catchy. amazing riffing in this song! (10/10) Artificial Sun Projection: This song starts off with a distorted guitar entrance. very spacey sounding guitars in this song. lots of singing in this song, and a lack of growls which i think this song needed more of. some say this is the most catchy song on the album. i agree. this song has a great solo that turns over into a bridge that is really slow and mellow. (9/10) The Missing Coordinates: The drumming is the standout point of this track. a simple structured song, but only a few clean parts. the guitars are almost surreal in this song...(7/10) Ghost Prototype 1 Measurement of thought: WOW! this is my 2nd favorite song. all clean vocals here except for a small entrance to the second verse which is growled. extremely catchty, with tons of prog influences. great vocals that match the flow of the music. the drums on this track are really overwhelming. killer ass solo too. (10/10 Fear Catalyst: This bad boy is heavy.from the start you know this is going be a heavy song. the pre-chorus has really deep growls. the chorus's are clean sung. the guitars are really sci-fi-ish lol. the bridge is slow. fast fucking solo too! its not one of my favorates (7.5/10) Trapezoid: All clean vocals on this song. sounds like a filler song, but its also really catchy. the solo is pretty lame, which is another reason to believe it shouldnt be on the album (7/10) Prism and Gate: one of the heavier songs. another sung chorus, growled verse. its nothing too different, but its well done. solo is good, drums are tight. (7/10) Holographic Universe: 9+ minute epic track. the entrance sounds like something from star wars. a really great track, plenty of different tempos and music. tons of solos...and a really heavy song in genreal. few clean vocals...sci-fi baby! (10/10) The Three Dimensional Shadow: Heavy, Heavy, Heavy...and filler. this isnt a bad song, but its not really catchy nor does it have any added cheese and pork fat. its an average song. (6/10) Ghost Prototype 2 Dues Ex Machina: 10 out of fucking 10! this is the most diverse track on this cd. it starts off with a slow clean vocal which shows off Christians range great...then gets heavy...then gets low again..thenheavy...then slow...LOL. what a must-hear track (10/10) 7. Similar Albums- any Mercenary Album...some soilwork 8. Rating- 10/10

. Artist- Rush . Album- Grace Under Presure . Genre- Progressive Rock . Overall Review- This has to be one of the greatest rush albums ever made. This albums theme seems to be war. It almost seems like a story. Overall the music seems very rushed. you can tell by the speed at which Geddy sings and Alex plays his guitar a bit faster to. . Track Review- The first 4-5 songs seem to tell a story to me. i dont know if its just me. but verbaly they fit right into each other. Alex plays his guitar alot faster here and uses alot F chords and D Chords along with some simaler scales . Similar Albums- Farewell to Kings ( Rush ) Similar artists include- Pink Floyd, Yes, Queensryche, Jethro Tull, 8. Rating 9/10-

1. Album Cover- 2. Artist - Same Difference 3. Album - Pop 4. Genre - Pop Music 5. Overall Review - After nearly a years wait, now we have it! The first CD by Same Difference, the brother and sister band that came 3rd in the 2007 X Factor contest in the UK. Many thought they should have won it, and even though their music is very 'pop' and aimed at the younger end of the market, it's catchy and more popular than people thought it would be. Hate them all you like, they will be around for some time. Looking forward to the Same Difference tour next year, going with my cousin, will be a mint time :) 6. Track Review- 1. We R One - The 1st single from the CD, catchy upbeat, nothing fancy here but catchy 9/10 2. Let Me Be The One - Very S Club, same sort of style, upbeat again 8/10 3. Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now - They sang this on TV, excellent version 9/10 4. I Need A House - Weird song in my opinion, listing what you need in life 5/10 5. Breaking Free - From HSM, good version, their strongest song on TV 9/10 6. If You Can't Dance - A typical 'Steps' style dance song, very catchy, upbeat 10/10 7. Right Between The Eyes - Ballad, song vocals from Sarah, catchy 8/10 8. All The Roads Lead To Heaven - Fast tempo song, will make you bop 8/10 9. Better Love Me - Upbeat ballad, another 'Steps' style chorus, catchy 6/10 10. Starts To Beat Again - Couldn't get into this song, very 'sugary' 4/10 11. Turn It Into Love - Cover of Hazel Dean/Kylie song. Good version 10/10 12. Still Amazed - Excellent end to CD, strong vocals, catchy chorus 10/10 8. Rating x/10 - 9.5/10.

Fall Out Boy Alubm-Folie A Deux Genre- Emo/Pop Punk 5. Overall Review- Following their 2007 mega-hit, Infinity On High, the boys are back with a new "political album". Overall...a very strong album. I was dissapointed with Infinity On High and this renewed my faith in them. Instead of just making songs with little substance but a catchy chorus so people will fall in love with them, they actually really seemed to try to make a bigger splash this time around and not just stay content with what they were doing in the past. The album is far from flawless, but compare this to IOH and see for yourself how much better this is. Track Review- 1. Disloyal Order Of Water Buffaloes- An EXTREMELY anthemic start to the album. It has a very arena feel to it. Some great guitar and drums in this song, possibly some of the best of any song they have ever done. Very catchy and is sure to please the ears of FOB fans and music fans alike. One of my favs on the album and one of my favorite FOB songs. This song also goes strongly into....... 2. I Don't Care- Their first single off of Folie a Deux. A very catchy song with a very powerful chorus stating "I don't care what you think, as long as it's about me." This is said to be their more "politcal" song, which I can see how this could be. One of my favs and is a definite standout on the album with a great video to go along with it. Sure to be one of their big hits and is one of their better songs. 3. She's My Winona- FOB goes a little funk here and suceeds at it. IT is a very fun song, not exactly a standout on the album, but a good one at that. A typical pop/punk song, a fun beat with a catchy chorus to win the masses over. So again, not a fantastic song, but a good one and sounds like someone we would of heard off of FOBs 2005 realese, From Under The Corck Tree, which is without a doubt their best album. 4. America's Suitehearts Another great FOB song here that is made for the arena crowd to sing along with. Some great drums and a great, heart punding chorus that whenever you hear it, it is time to TURN IT UP. A little more bluesy on this track and again, some great lines from FOB, "why, why, why won't the world revolve around me?" A high point on the album and one of my favorites. A very big departure from older FOB, and you know what? That is a good thing for this track. I am open to change, as long as it is for the better and this is deffenently for the better. 5. Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown On A Bad Bet - A very different one here for FOB. A good song, not my favorite becuase it is just a little weird for me. A good chorus, but the verses just don't do it for me. Nonetheless, catchy and fun. Maybe just because it jsut reminded me to much of something that I didn't like off of IOH. 6. The (Shipped) Gold Standard- GREAT song and the chorus is is perfect. The lyrics at first struck me of kind of lame and the more I listened to it, the more amazing the song got. The lyrics on the chorus are again just PERFECT (my favorite line in the song is "you can only blame your problems on the world for so long, before it all becomes the same old song") and again, it is a fantastic change in style for the band and this is def a +1 for FAD (Folie a Deux) 7. (Coffee's For Closers)- Def a departure for FOB, like many others on the album. Is it a good departure? Kinda, this song just really doesn't do it for me. It's not terrible, but it seems like it wasn't one of those songs that they tried on. It seems like it is just another song that they wrote to add to the track list. The chorus is good, maybe it is just me. The verses are what made me not care for this song, that vocals also arent the best from Patrick. 8. What A Catch, Donnie- Dare I say it?...a power ballad? From Fall Out Boy? A FANTASTIC song on the album, I have never heard of a song this great from FOB. Golden from IOH was kind of like this, but What A Catch topples it. The lyrics are just amazing and shows that FOB has actual tallent. It isn't just another pop/punk song with a catchy chorus to make it a big hit, they actualy cared about this song and the final product was amazing. 9. 27- WHAT? FOB swore?? Wow....anyways, this is a very entertaining song with a great chrous. It's another song that is a big departure from FOB and is great. One of my favs off of the album. But, it can be one of those songs that you either love it or hate it. I love it. It also has a very cool guitar solo which we dont hear FOB do to often. 10. Tiffany Blews- The lyrics in the verses here are, in my opinion, terrible. But, the chorus comes through and almost saves the song. Lil Wayne also is on this track with a great part for him, though I doubt that he wrote it. As I said, the verses are just really bad, they don't make sence and Patricks voice in the verses is annoying in a way. Nonetheless, when you hear the chorus, you can't help but sing along. Also, of cours, Wayne just had to do the auto tuner crap in this song. 11. w.a.m.s.- Cool guitar intro. Not a fan of the verses, the vocals just make it hard on the ears to me. The lyrics though are good here. As for the chorus, it is just ok, nothing really special here. Just another pop punk song by FOB made to generate lots of people singing it at their concerts. 12. 20 Dollar Nose Bleed- Pretty unique song here. Got a catchy piano intro and some horn in there to. Pretty upbeat and fun and, while not my favorite song off of the album, a good song nonetheless. Once again, a very catchy chorus and some fun lyrics. Would this be one of their hits? Doubt it simply 'cause it may not appeal to all the fans. The fans like the rocking power chords that FOB has, not the piano...sad. Though, this reminded me of something PATD would of done. 13. West Coast Smoker- "OH HELL YES!!" Haha, this song has an amazing chorus and is much more heavy than most songs that FOB does in the guitar department. A great climax to the album and a great song in general. FOB really does know how to end an album, I'll give them that much. Rating- 8/10 Post edited at 7:19 pm on Dec. 15, 2008 by BoxcarRacer
