When we did rounds, it was about 1 AM in the morning.  We passed the girl's room and there were a lot of people in there talking and hanging out, with the room half open.

But when we got to the guy's room, the door was shut.  And his roommate was actually sitting down in the middle of the hallway studying with another girl.  They were just sitting on the floor really late at night....
We were gonna yell at him to move, but they let it go (fire hazard)

Do you think that is a sign that the "boy" was getting it on in their room???

I don't think you can tell from that. Sure it's possible, but why does it matter? If he's getting laid good on him.

Which I think is dumb, especially when you live in coed floors, meaning...guys and girls share the floor. Not rooms, but the level.

My dorm's rule is no member of the opposite sex past 1 a.m., nor are they allowed to stay over.

My one roommate doesn't care, so, we let that rule 'slide'. It's mostly to protect the roommate(s). I have my own room. Lock off. What I do in my room is no one's business but mine.

If an RA passes by, and suspects, or hears noise, though, by rule, they can report it.
