Naturally sex is a private thing for many. Your room is the only place you can really do it. Just ask your room-mate to leave for a hour or so. You need the option for private time. Hopefully he will get into the swing of things in privacy. Just let things happen. You just cannot expect him to have sex with your room-mate around. I wouldn't like the idea of that privacy invasion. As for the covers. It may be his preference. Work through things slowly.

There a some things that are sacred with me.  Sharing my gf with anyone is sacred and I mean in any form including visual. Some people have no class, no inhibitions, no brakes in their life.  The shy guy that you are dating is the only one that has good sense.

I really don't care if others are in the room. I prefer it if they are having sex, too. I only bring the two or three girls I regularly go outwith. If I found "the one" I'd feel entirely different about it I think.
