so how can anyone have a logical problem with it?

Who said their problems with it are logical? If their arguments were logical, we'd be able to find common ground.

But god recognizes the other religions and it is his opinion that counts

It's good to know you're Jehovah's personal mouthpiece. This is about Jehovah, the Christian god, and not some abstract god you invented in your own mind.

You stole your god from another religion so I think you are the one that is confused about what your god thinks is ok.

Plus if you knew anything about your religion you would know that Muslim, Jews and Christians all have the same god but follow different prophets of that god.  So according to your statement that is a religious issue it still comes back to the fact that anyone married in any religious arrangement would not be having premartial sex

First of all, I'm not a Christian, a Muslim or a Jew, thus Jehovah is not my god. Second of all, this is not an objective poll. It is about CHRISTIAN BELIEF and therefore, what Jews think about Jehovah is irrelevant. You can claim that Allah and Jehovah are one, as Muslims do, but Christians do not generally accept that as true. We are talking about Christian belief and not your fairy world in which everyone agrees and nobody is wrong. Therefore

So according to your statement that is a religious issue it still comes back to the fact that anyone married in any religious arrangement would not be having premartial sex

is false. This is not about religion in general, it is about Christian belief.

Your question was people who are not christian married outside the christian church would they be having premartial sex.  The answer is no.  I don't care what you think you know about Christianity but the truth is the three major religious worship the same god using different rituals following different prophets.

This is not a question of what the Christian church thinks because it is historical/religous fact.  The church can not change history just because it wants a different answer.  Thus Jehovah who accepts the covenant of marriage - accepts it regardless of religion you profess to be.

I think it is you who don't understand your religion.

Listening to the statements of those who oppose homosexual marriage. They make no distinction between legal marriage in America and Christian traditional marriage. I use the word feeling lightly. I know that that's how these people feel; you can see it clearly in any debate on gay marriage, here or elsewhere.

I do not know the situation in England, but in the US the sentiment is universally anti gay-marriage, and not anti gay-marriage in a Christian context/by Christian ceremony.

I think the issue is with a dislike of the use of the word "marriage" which has overtly religious connotations.

It is not "religious fact." If the religion does not acknowledge it. "Religious facts" are determined by the religious beliefs professed by those following the religion. It doesn't matter what claims Islam makes, it doesn't make it true. If I claimed to be following Jehovah by raping children, according to Christianity, I would be a liar.

It's not an issue of Church politics but of Christian belief.

Get it through your thick fucking head that we are talking about Christianity and not your fantasy world. Jehovah's opinions according to CHRISTIANITY are Jehovah's opinions according to Christianity, not you. Since I am talking about Christian belief and not your sham system of heterodoxy or whatever the fuck it is you think you belief, your ideas about what is and is not valid according to Jehovah are absolutely meaningless.

That's certainly true, but dislike of use of the word is a terrible excuse for ignorance of its multiple meanings.

Well, I'm not a christian so i don't know. But I suppose it depends on the individual christian. More liberal christians would probably think it were okay. I'm not sure about the more conservative ones, but they'd probably be slightly more opposed.

I'm actually kind of surprised how many people voted for the last option. Probably people who only ever look at the fresh topics and leap at the chance for their 1/4 point.

You're saying Jehovah recognizes pagan marriage?

If it's not a Christian ceremony and not a Christian commitment does Jehovah still recognize it as marriage or not?

So when two Hindus are making a commitment to each other in a Hindu ceremony referencing Hindu gods, you still think Jehovah recognizes their marriage?
