I still see you claiming (or at least supporting the claim) that the question is irrelevant. If non-Christian marital sex issues are peripheral, the question is peripheral.

As I said before, this is not a thread about non-Christian salvation. The marital sex issue being peripheral to salvation is irrelevant to this thread.

Why is it irrelevent if that is the Christian position on the issue?

If you want an answer to the question, sure they can have sex. They can also steal, murder, lie, etc., as not being saved, it doesn't really matter.

Because the position regards a rather specific issue within Christian doctrine. In the grander scheme, of course it doesn't matter what non-Christians do. I realize that. If I ask what the last sound someone's going to perceive before the H-bomb destroys them, is it a fair answer to say "It doesn't matter! They dead!" ?

I don't believe so.

Here's the better answer you can give me; does Jehovah recognize anyone as married who is not already a saved Christian, and why do you believe that to be the case?

I'm still trying to figure that out for myself. It's pretty clear that the Bible takes a stance against extra-marital sex, but it never sits down and says, "This is what marriage is, and this is the point at which a couple is officially married." The position has changed so much throughout the centuries based on different cultural norms...I mean, if we really want to go back to Biblical times, you were considered tied in marriage from the time you were betrothed, but it changes so often throughout history that it's just very difficult to say.

At the end of the day, I'd say that if you're truly seeking to do God's will, it wouldn't matter who married you at the end of the day. Other people probably will say differently, but I really don't give a damn.
