By "engage in", I mean things like sending Facebook messages, increased attention in group settings, proposals to have friendly lunches, etc.

I just know that as a guy, if there's a girl I like, then I tend to "play it cool" (almost to a fault) so that I don't seem too creepy. So if you're a girl and I never write on your wall or randomly text you or even sometimes avoid eye contact in a crowded room, it probably means that I like you and I don't want to blow it.

I'm just wondering if girls are the same.

I do the same thing. but only if I REALLY like a guy. but if I just think he's hot then I act really obvious. I think that life would be loads easier if everyone was just upfront about it though.

I usually try to show the girl I like her. Of course most of the time I have the hihg possibility of being thought of as creepy, but what can I do. I usually like hanging out with girls...

I think i would if i was more confident with myself, but seeing as i have issues with that, its harder for me to think that possibly the person that i like might like me back. So having bad experiences with this, will make a person not want to engage in further contact with someone i might like. But things have changed since then, and i have started to not care what the out come is and if ur rejected, your rejected. One less person you have to worry about.

So, today... i probably would. :)

On the other hand, I'll never randomly text, write on the wall of, or make eye contact with someone I'm not interested in either, on account of I don't constantly think about her.

So I don't know how that's a sign.
