does the girl really expect for the guy to handle most of the convo-initiation?

because i think its definitely should be the girl since thats more of their area.

if a guy asked you out for coffee or lunch or something, do you expect him to dominate the conversation? (keep in mind that the guy isn't the ideal confident man)

i think the flow is important. keep the flow, but don't talk too much. don't abruptly change topics too often. but know that you might be expected to drive the conversation.

i hate it when theres long silences during conversations with a girl you are interested in... i say... both needs to put effort in the convo... i dont think guys need to start the convo but for me, it usually happens cuz the girl is usually shyer than the guy... so, i say, order some strong tasting coffee and strap down and prepare to talk! Bring some random topics up! Don't be a fool !
