The thought of no social life...

...doesn't bother me at all.  Is that common?

I'm already commuting two hours up and two hours back Monday through Friday.  I don't plan on staying on campus very much longer than I have to.  And if I manage to come home early on any given day, I'm thinking about trying to keep my other work shifts.

My oldest sister told me not to make a packed schedule, to leave time for friends and stuff... but the thought of not being that social, the thought of not having many friends, and not really hanging out doesn't bother me all that much.  It would be nice to have someone to chat to, but you can do that for 10 minutes and be good...

Anyone else not care?  Or is the social aspect of college something that appeals to you, or something that you need?

i've never really cared for a social life. if people didn't actively pursue me to come chill with them, i'd probably be at home by myself for days and not notice.

I'm kinda in the same situation but I care. I haven't experienced a social life before and so I would like to before I don't care about it.

I care SO much. I always make sure I have time whenever possible to keep in touch and go out with all my friends. Social life is really important to me. I worry about it a lot too..

Yeah, I'm not a big social being. There's a few people I hang out with, on my off time. But, most of the time, it's just me, and my guy.

mmm... well, i think having a good amount of friends is important... honestly, they are the ones who are gonna help you out and know you the best...kinda like your right-hand man... if anyone is still in school, friends are definitely important cuz when u hit the real world of work, its hard to make friends. So you want to rely on your old buddies to kick it and relax.

On that note, if you stay at home all day... you mostlikely are masturbating... so give palmala anderson a rest once in a while...
