That's as bad, in their eyes, as teaching you the most efficient way of murdering someone.

Being told not to do something, only makes one want to do it more. Telling someone it's okay to do, but safe, isn't fun. Everyone loves a bit of danger.

So, instead of telling these people to not have sex. Tell them how to have sex - and how it will fuck up your life if you don't do it safe. Therefore they will only have sex when they want to.

 I think they should show abstinence as a great option but also teach effective ways to prevent pregnancy and STI's.

I'm not asking for them to ENFORCE sex on people. I'm saying to teach them the benefits of abstinence along with sexual education.

That's the one true form of abstinence. As gross as it is, that's part of the reason I'm still a virgin.
Another reason is because I'm quite tired of people using me then throwing me away like trash.
I don't want to get close to a person only to find out they want in my pants and that's it.

But when you get married that means they grew to know you and all that. And you love each other, which only makes the sweeter because it's with someone you love.

At least that's my view on it. But my parents told me for years not to have sex and it worked. Then again... If I've learned one thing at all, it's to never ever ever cross my father. He doesn't tolerate anything he does not like - can't blame him though.
And, I, for one like sitting on my ass all day - so I would like it if I could sit while not being pain, if you catch my drift here. Not to mention, all the things I love would go bye-bye. My computer, iPOD, GameBoy, TV, art supplies, rated R (for violence) movies, my FRIENDS! Yes, the ones who are actually having sex I will see NO MORE! My phone, any sort of connection to the outside world - GONE GONE GONE!! I may be Agoraphobic, but I still need some connection to the outside world!><

*cough* Besides... Why would I even want to have sex when i know it's just my hormones acting up? When i ovulate my sex drive sky rockets practically. And it also has to do with estrogen levels, I believe. A far as guys go, well... I believe that's more of a state-of-mind personally. But, where there is a state-of-mind, there is a reasoning for it, which leads to some form of scientific proof. It's probably testosterone which causes it as well, that would make sense considering I under-produce it [less than the average female I mean].

I'm gonna research this actually. But just telling them does not work... You have to enforce what will happen if they break the rules.
