Does this ever happen to you?

I'm African (from Egypt) and African American and people continue to mistake me for being half asian. There is no Asian in me, anywhere!

Sometimes, it's kinda cool, but then sometimes it's annoying because people think I'm lying.

My boyfriend constantly gets asked if he's Asian.

Yeah, that happens to me, I'm white but I've been mistaken for someone of Hispanic or Arabic descent quite a few times. Once someone even thought I was from India.
