I'm not telling my friends that I'm trying to get into UNC-Chapel Hill

Because at my school - only rich white kids think about applying there - when it really has nothing to do with money because we're in the same state, and it's a public school, so it's costly, but not more than average - but yeah.

And my SAT scores, well, they were average. I'm taking it again, but I really want to get into this school, you know. I mean, it's one of the best public schools in the country, let alone the state, and if you get in, it's kind of a big deal.

But both of my AP teachers went to UNC, and they kind of shoved the school down our throats.  Oh well. I don't care, that's where I want to go. It's a tougher school, but I want it to be tough.

But if I tell my friends, I will NEVER EVER EVER hear the end of it. I just won't. And this way, if I don't get in, well, no one has to know except my fam.

I know! I got invited to that Project Uplift thing, but I couldn't go because the weekend that they scheduled me for, not the one I requested, was when I had to take exams.

Good luck with applying. I've actually heard its easier than it used to be to get into Chapel Hill these days. You have an ambition and a drive, so I think if you work hard and continue to put your mind to it, you'll get in. :)

:) I've been thinking about where I want to apply, so yeah.  Chapel Hill, NC State, ECU (My back up school) are three that I want to apply to.
