You will have to find either a character pack or a language pack that has the correct files and install it.

I'm pretty sure that to solve that problem, you will have to download a new font library or an extra language pack. But usually your computer will prompt you to download those when it sees that the characters are missing from the computer's existing library.

You mentioned that you were using a mac, however. I don't know if the desktop you tried to print it on was a mac as well, but if that's the case, then I might not be able to help you out as well, because I'm not to familiar with macs. If you try printing from another mac, though it should work just the same.

As long as that Mac has the font with those Spanish characters, then yes, it should print.

Well, if the computer you're sending it to doesn't have the language pack, and typically isn't a mac, then it won't read it properly. So, there's a couple of different things you can do:

One way, is to print it from another mac, in the same program. They are usually smart enough to read amongst each other, so this shouldn't be a problem

The second way is to hook up your printer to your mac. You said you can't, and I don't know why, but if you have the connecting cable, plug it into your mac, and since macs tend to be quite smart, it will pick it up right away and have no problem printing.

Now, the third way might be the best way to go about it. Have you ever heard of Google Docs? It's an online application that google provides, that allows you to save things online with their text program, and save things like images and word documents. I'm thinking that the smartest thing for you to do is use the text program. I haven't tried personally, but google is mostly smart enough to know it's fonts. So you can make an account (see below on how to), save it there, and go to your other computer, and print it directly from Google Docs.

Now, here's how to get yourself a google account. Not only will this allow you to use docs, but also iGoogle, Gmail, and other google services. You can sign up here,
http://tinyurl.com/3n88qu, and once you do, you can now go to here, login, create a new text, and copy and paste.
Then, go on Google Docs on your other computer, and hit print while on the text document.

Hope this works!
