University of Chicago, anyone?

Anybody know anything about the University of Chicago? I mean, I've already visited their website and done that kind of research, and I'll be visiting the campus in the fall, but I was just wondering if anyone has any other information about it. Anything you know about it would be appreciated, I'm considering applying there.

Also, I know that the schoool is known for their math/science programs, but I'm attracted to their humanities program. Anyone know anything about that?

It's a really nice campus, and is right by the water. I've been by there many times.

The city is just north of there, and is gorgeous.

they usually have some weird essay topics.

I give up on it the shortly after reading those.
They are a top university though.

University of Chicago is an amazing school! You'll get a great education there. It was tied for 9th with Columbia in the best national universities in the U.S. News & World Report rankings. It is definitely a great school where you will get an excellent education.
