There is talk that Phil Jackson might on, and the only coach that would replace him is Avery Johnson, who lead the Mav to the NBA final in 2006.  The fact that Phil was too laid back and may to many bad coaching decision show us that his time with us has worn out.  When the lakers had an 11 point lead in game 4, he take out fisher and a few minute afterward, the Lakers were down by 5 point.  The Celtic was on a 16-4 run.  What kind of coach play Walton instead of Turiaf, and play Rad instead of Ariza?  His Phil had the aggression like Doc River, and the right coaching job in the final, the Lakers would have won.  Why would you take Kobe off Pierce when the Lakers were leading?

as for the Lakers, once they sort out Andrew's contract problems, I would hope that they try to ship off Odom, as there isn't much outside shooting to spread the floor with a starting lineup of Bynum-Gasol-Odom-Bryant-Fisher... Bryant's getting older, though that's really not a concern

San Antonio is trying to sign Corey Maggette, and if they do it'll make you think that the whole "odd year championships" thing is true... they're an older team and they need more offense, and Maggette will help them there... wouldn't be surprised to see them in the Finals vs. the Celtics
