If you listen to all of the mainstream rap, you're probably going to hate it.
But there's amazing underground stuff to listen to.
Even Lil Wayne releases sort of weak singles, but his other songs are amazing.
Most mainstream rock is good, which is why more of you prefer it.

But if you listen to underground and unsigned rappers, you'll definitely have more respect for the genre.
It isn't all about pimps, hoes and cars.

okay.

I enjoy bits of both, really. And I don't think it's for anyone to say one is better than the other. Opinions like that don't generally change because someone says "no, you're wrong" so I don't see much point in discussing which is better.

But my particular favorites are:
Crust Punk, Folk, Folk-Punk, Hip-Hop, Indie
