That's exactly my point. Why should people not have to deal with their mistakes? Why should people be able to do whatever they want in life with no consequences?

It isn't up to the United States Government to punish people for not breaking the law. Getting pregnant is completely legal, and if if you change your mind, it's your body and you can do what you want with it.

No. You're missing the point. Why is it that people don't want the baby? Why do people feel that they're not responsible anymore? I understand how a baby can be an inconvenience but that's a risk you take when you have sex. Why should you get the fun without paying for it?
