The friend zone blows, but if it's a really good friend, make sure you still love them as a person and don't start resenting them (and thus lose a good friend) just because they won't go out with you.

Also, make sure that you don't not ask someone out just because you think that you are in the friend zone.  Could be an opportunity lost.  I have seen friends turn into relationships, and even if you fail, no friend of mine that I ever asked out on a date has ever turned into being awkward or ruined our friendship even if I was rejected.

The Friend Zone is generally something that you dont stand a chance at escaping if your trying to escape, But you just might have a chance if you leave it be, In other words, its like Quick Sand, It sucks u in and u will never be able to escape unless you allow it to spit u out the other end lol
