It ultimately comes down to this. A site is composed of people, and a forum site has no ability to offer information on its own without the people. Now, some people come on here for advice, but have no ability to offer any form of support. Other people come on here because they find it amusing. Certain PEOPLE strive to be supportive, but I can't say the same for the majority. You're bound to get people from all spectrums. Just because there are people that have no concern or no interest in helping others doesn't mean that everyone is the same. Who knows, maybe if more people like you would spend less time complaining about it and more time 'supporting', there wouldn't be this problem. Because you, just as I am, are part of this site, and expected to be part of the support. If you expect only support leaders to be part of the support, then they do what they are supposed to when they can, so I see no grounds on which you can complain.

Doesn't it suck how you are FORCED to be a member here. I mean this site went to hell a whiel ago but since we aren't allowed to close our accounts and move on with life....I think sitting around bitching is an excellent strategy

Support doesn't mean fixing the problem. No one can fix someone else's problems, because it all relies on the individual. I would be crazy to think I could 'fix' anything. Support is giving an alternate perspective on things, a view given from someone who does NOT have emotions to cloud more logical and rational thinking. Support for some is just having someone to talk to, even if it's about nothing serious. Support for others is finding someone else that may be able to understand. Support for others is finding out what the majority thinks so that they can join the band wagon. And for others, support is finding someone that can fix things. But maybe those people are just too unwilling to recognize that at the end of the day, it all comes down to THEM, and until they put forth the effort, there's not much else to expect.
