I'm staying at my school's Inn which means my roommate and I have to buy our own toilet paper. This fact escaped my attention until I got here so I had to go out and buy a pack. Well, when my roommate got here, she didn't bring any with her, either. She just used mine. So did her friends...all three of them...repeatedly...so we're out now...she finished up the last roll last night...
I'm kind of irritated...I mean, she has to know that I bought it, that it wasn't provided by the Inn, it was in a pack, sitting on the damn counter... I think I only ever finished up one roll so she replaced all of the others when she ran out (and was the one who opened up the pack I'd purchased, I believe, after the roll my Dad gave me from his hotel room ran out). But when she got to the last roll, she didn't say a word. She didn't ask if there was more, didn't offer to buy the next pack, etc.
I know it might sound silly but...I don't want to keep buying our toilet paper. I've already spent way too much money on stuff I didn't anticipate buying for school and still have to buy a flash drive, hair dryer, food, a keyboard, and shampoo and soap since I'm running out. I also have to fund my trip home this next weekend. And I'm not the one bringing guests in here several times a week, it's like buying toilet paper for three or four when there's only us two.
What money I have with me is mine, I earned it. I can't afford to spend it all buying her stuff the rest of the year, especially not when her Dad is an engineer and he gives her like $50 every week just because. I don't care if it's on a credit card, I don't care if she doesn't have a car...she can get on the shuttle and go to the mall, there are loads of other stores within walking distance.
I'm just curious to see what she says when she gets up and goes to use the restroom only to find she can't wipe her ass...
