Never has... but now my computer isn't booting. Don't know what to do! I put in my Windows XP disc to see if I could have a look at reformatting and reinstalling my hdd, but not even that works. Any help, please?

Is the power cable unplugged a little bit?
Have you tried turning computer off then un attaching the monitor cable which attaches to your computer and then attaching it again

See if it is plugged in correctly. If it is, try plugging a different monitor into it. If that works, you need to replace your monitor. If not, your on-board video or video card may have failed.
