Given the fact that there have been literally hundreds of different religions and deities over the course of human history how can you justify thinking that your religion is the only correct one?

From a Jewish point of view...Judaism accepts that there are many ways of life, and that is fine only if you live a moral life and beleive in God. its not about correct and incorrect.

But I can't accept that answer unless you believe that god is a metaphor and doesn't actually exist.

Clearly if you believe in a literal god as described in the Bible you can't believe in Zeus or Quetzaquotal as well.

obviously i cant, but its not a matter of justification, because religion is premised on personal opinion. there is no ground or reasonable justification for which religion is correct or incorrect. what i beleive what i think is correct and what you beleive what you think is correct is what religion is based on.
