How?  The only way you could hit that limit would have been if you sent nothing but "hi," "sup," or other one or two word messages to multiple people constantly, at which point I would wonder why the conversations just wouldn't be taken to IM?

agreed. I dont even understand how someone could send that many messages.

I think the limit was increased if you donated or became a support leader.  Something like being able to send 80 messages per hour instead of 60 (1 message a minute).
