I've been to both many times.
Iowa is rather boring, no offense. (Then again, how can I talk, living in freaking Kansas?)
I like Illinois though. Chicago is fast becoming my second home. I'm most likely going to go to college there. (Either at the University of Chicago or the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)
