There is a strange problem with my inbox. The notification of a new message is not working. Sometime I get notified on one message but when I go to my inbox I find more than one.
Is there a problem with the messages server or something?

No. Livewire acts up as far as messages are concerned quite alot. It'll go back to normal again eventually.

The notification for my inbox is also going haywire. It tells me I have several messages when I don't have any (does that mean my inbox is malfunctioning or that I should stop being a loser and get some friends?).
