I agree with you. I don't really think this site is for people to criticize things, but to get help with problems. She really must not know anything about religion to think the things she said in that post.

If we stripped people of their status just for making unsupported statements, no one would have the status anymore, because everyone holds unsupported beliefs.  Basically, you're telling us to demote someone because you don't agree with them.

The member initially passed, and there is no requirement to continue to act in the same manner (ie, being intellectual) in order to keep the Intellectual badge. Members aren't just demoted from that status for being exceedingly stupid or ignorant, sadly.

It's not my difference of opinion, just that the poster is showing obvious ignorance about the topic he/she posted about.  It's the intellectual forum.  The topic should at least express some sort of understanding of religion to be qualified for that forum, but it doesn't.

It is a different opinion. You behold this all as ignorance because you have a different perspective towards the God-entity and religion that the poster has. Perhaps a bittered or cynical perspective, but a pespective none the less. Religion is not pure knowledge, therefore it's all subjective. Otherwise it would be known as a science. And all subjective areas are tied down by people's opinions.

Perhaps it doesn't follow suit with your perspective or the Intelligence Forum's known topics, the most that can be done then is moving it from there to Religion and Philosophy.
